PRFMNEWS – Jin BTS merilis single solo terbarunya yang berjudul The Astronaut pada 28 Oktober 2022. Single tersebut merupakan kolaborasi bersama dengan Coldplay.
Lagu The Astronaut ini memiliki makna yang mendalam yakni Jin berterimakasih kepada para Army (fans BTS) yang selalu ada untuknya.
Pada lagu ini menggambarkan tentang makhluk planet lain yang tersesat di bumi, kemudian memilih menetap karena ada sosok yang dicintainya. Sosok yang dicintai itulah yang digambarkan Jin adalah para Army.
